Vintage Saw Clock Brushed Stainless Distressed Blade Industrial Workshop Home Decor
The gorgeous brushed stainless-steel Credo wall-hanging clock is in very good to great condition. Also, this collectible silver-gray and black saw-blade style battery-operated clock is in great working condition. The clock features black metal "hour" and "minute" hands along with a red metal "second" hand. The black plastic housing on the back holds one "AA" battery. Along with a metal wall hanger at the top of the black plastic clock mechanism, there is also some information in the top left corner that notes, "QUARTZ" with "MADE IN U.S.A." just below. On the bottom of the black clock mechanism, there are two sets of numbers starting with "2343" with "80" to its right. Even though the clock appears to be brushed stainless-steel, there are some faint places of distress and rustic patina on the front and back. The beautiful rustic patina along with the slight distress brings out a very important characteristic concerning this gorgeous stainless-steel wall-hanging clock - authenticity. While it is relatively easy to find a wall-hanging clock in general, it is somewhat more difficult to find one in the style of a saw-blade. Furthermore, it is another thing altogether to find a saw-blade style wall-hanging clock that was actually used in a genuine master woodworker's workshop. Hence, this clock is actually an authentic saw-blade style clock that once hung on the workshop wall of an aging master craftsman who made wooden treasures ranging anywhere from benches, to flower beds, to carved wooden decor, and much more.
Please keep in mind that screen resolution and/or original lighting could cause the colors to appear lighter or darker than actual. Also, a battery does not come with the clock. In addition, while the clock is in great working condition, it is possible that at some point in the future the black clock mechanism will need to be replaced due to age. Along with this, it is important to note that after shipping and unwrapping, the little hands may need some slight straightening. Since the clock will not be disassembled and shipped with the hands wrapped separately, it will arrive fully intact and ready to display after checking the hands and adding a battery.
There are no breaks, cracks, chips, or repair places on this gorgeous brushed stainless-steel Credo wall-hanging clock. There are some vintage wear, age, and rub marks on the clock - mainly in the form of a faint rustic patina and slight distress on the black accents. For example, the number "1" in 12 o'clock is slightly distressed. Also, there are some tiny places in the hands where they have been lightly bent to make sure they cant get caught on one another. The clock has been lightly washed with mild soap and water. Hence, it is very clean to the touch.
