Vintage 1920's 1926 1927 very rare and hard to find automotive auto car salesman seat cover material samples in a 9 1/2" by 5" (closed) binder - "Belmor Brand Seat Covers For All Cars Mfg'd By The Belmor Mfg. Co., Inc., 2300 Wabansia Ave., Chicago". The cover is an embossed thick leather-like vinyl type material. The inside front cover reads "Dealers' List, Standard Retail Selling Prices" loaded with prices for 1923 - 1926 Chevrolet, Ford, Model A, Star, Whippet, Packard, Pierce-Arrow, Lincoln, Cadillac, etc. There are 14 sample attached with rivets to the back cover. Some are not pictured in the photos. The samples are very well made high end cloth seat cover material with the first two having leatherette trim. The fourteen thick heavy cloth samples display beautifully with great colors and patterns. The back of each sample has a tag that shows sample numbers and "Belmor Brand, Tailored To Orders, Seat Covers, Medium Quality (and First Quality, Deluxe Quality and Veri-Best Quality), Brown Leatherette Trimming, (and Blue Leatherette Trimming, Cloth Bound)". The five "Medium Quality" samples are Material Number 41, 123, 344, 508 and 266. The four "First Quality" samples are 408, 419, 389 and 35. The three "De Luxe Quality" samples are 689, 5056 and 693. The two "Veri-Best Quality" samples are 698 and 699. There is more info under the samples as pictured. The salesman sample book is in very good complete condition.
