    Description

    RARE c.1880’s antique original Akin advertising clock also known as a paper flipper made by Akin Manufacturing Co. This was made as a prototype, but this clock design never made it into production. This was going to be the premium model of the clock, not the standard. It has all of the original Seth Thomas mechanisms and keys. Walnut case with reverse paint on glass front. There are a couple chard sections on the wood as this clock was saved from a car fire way back when. The paper advertisements are not original. Museum quality piece! Dimensions: 45.5”h x 20”w x 10”d.
