You're looking at a rare matching pair of adjustable-height swivel stools dating to approx the 1940s-1950s, manufactured by
Seng Chicago
.
Seng were known for a great deal of furniture manufacturing in the late 19th century through to the middle of the 20th century. They also produced swivel bases for Charles and Ray
Eames/ Herman Miller
chairs. These stools were likely used in a lab are structurally very solid, showing wear commensurate with age including marks, scuffs, dings etc. All feet are present and in good shape. These work great as side tables as well as seating.
Each stool adjusts from approx 14.75" - 18.25" and the seat diameter is 14".
