Meet my friends with my new sculptural composition a boy with a dog. This interior composition is pleasing to the eye. Every child loves and dreams of a dog. I tried to convey these emotions of love for animals. The boy is made of Japanese paper clay, cloth, mohair, paper clay dog, linen cloth, acrylic paints, varnish. Height 10 inches. Made entirely by hand in a single copy.
His name is Fred.
He won't play fetch.
He won't play dead.
He won't shake hands
or sit or stay
or bark or beg
or run and play.
He won't roll over,
shake or crawl.
In fact, he won't
do tricks at all.
When folks ask why
I tell them that's
because my dog
was raised by cats.
