Description
Ray Dorey sings both Mam'selle and on the obverse The Man Who Paints The Rainbow on this recording produced by Majestic Records in 1946. Mam'selle s the theme song from the movie the Razor's Edge in the cafe. Shipped upon cleared payment.I have played this record on my own phonograph on both sides of this record and it played with no interruption to a smooth playing experience on my player. Record has some deep scratches at the end, not on the music. The record played through on both sides smoothly with no skipping. The record has a scratchy appearance.
The sound is of the ages and has the sound a record may have based on its age and has a bit of the scratchiness recordings had in the day, but also developed with aging. There are very visible mars to the shellac. Center hole on one side is chipping out.
The label is black with gold writing and has a golden ring around the outside of the circle. The insignia above the gold lettered Majestic is a bird of prey.
The label has the following written on it:
The record has the number 7217
Orchestrated and conducted by Paul Baron
1003 1002
A label that someone put on it
And the patents manufacturing etc. Etc. Made in the USA.
This record in it's appearance looks scratched on both sides. It comes with no paper or sleeve, just the record.
Thanks for your time, reading my listing, and looking. I hope you'll look forward to my other listings and other recordings items at my store Sch-8076. Thank You.
