This is a dark reddish amber hand blown semi cabin shaped bottle embossed
DOC DUNNING / OLD HOME BITTERS / GREENSBORO N.CAROLINA / OLD HOME BITTERS
(bold emb on 4 sunken panels).....Hand blown in mold....smooth base....ground lip....14"tall.....deep red amber....square with sunken paneled roof shoulders.....it was made with a smooth natural hole in the very flat bottom of bottle so that it could be made into a lamp. Excellent shiny mint condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean bottle with no haze. This bottle was actually made in the 1970s for an interesting man named "Doc" Dunning who ran a furniture store in Greensboro,NC. This bottle was made to be a lamp, as it has a hole that was made in the bottom for the electric cord. There were only so many of these made and were never reproduced, so they are getting much harder to find
