    Description

    Up for sale is a super nice and damage free Antique rectangular shape medicine bottle embossed all on the front flat beveled panel as follows: ( three slanted vertical lines ) PHELPS RHEUMATIC ELIXIR / John H. Phelps Pharmacist  / Scranton, Pa. This outstanding 5 5/8 in. tall blown in the mold light green 1880's era bottle is in excellent original near mint condition with absolutely no cracks, nicks, or dings as well as almost no interior clouds or haze. It has a tool applied flat narrow square collar mouth and a post mold smooth base with a large rectangular shape slightly recessed depression embossed in very small letters : S.G.Co.(see pic. 12). Inside the lip edge as well as the neck region, there are a couple of pin size manufactured impurities otherwise there are no other imperfections.
