Antique 1880's amber triangular medicine~ FREDERICK STEARNS & CO. DETROIT, MICH.

Up for sale is a non dug hard to find Antique tall triangular shape medicine, tonic, or bitters bottle embossed all on one narrow side edge as follows: FREDERICK STEARNS & CO. DETROIT, MICH. This outstanding blown in the mold amber 10 in. tall bottle is in excellent original condition with absolutely no cracks, chips, or dings anywhere as well as almost no interior clouds or haze. There are some minute scattered exterior scratches and / or scuff marks as well as a flea bite size ping on the outside edge of the mouth but nothing else. It has a tooled applied wide square collar mouth and has a post mold smooth base with a inverted dome depression embossed with the numbers " 188/ 3". This bottle was manufactured by the Frederick Stearns Pharmaceutical Company in Detroit, Mich. which was in business from 1887 to 1921. This bottle is a personal find of mine and has been in my collection for over 50 years.
